There is currently no generic available for Xarelto (rivaroxaban) in the United States.

However, Natco Pharm, an Indian pharma company, announced the launch of the rivaroxaban molecule under brand RPIGAT on Thursday.

What is Xarelto?

Xarelto is the third most popular anticoagulant medications that helps to prevent blood clots, stroke. It is commonly used in patients with atrial fibrillation.

To reduce stroke risk in appropriate atrial fibrillation (AFib) patients, non–vitamin K oral anticoagulants (NOACs) are now the preferred recommended medication class over the conventional medication Coumadin (warfarin), unless patients have moderate to severe mitral stenosis or an artificial heart valve.

NOACs include Pradaxa (dabigatran), Xarelto (rivaroxaban), Eliquis (apixaban), and Lixiana (edoxaban).

How Much Is Xarelto?

The lowest Cheapomeds.com price for the brand name Xarelto is around $2.35 per tab, manufactured by Bayer from Germany, 85% off the average retail price of $15.60 per tab in the U.S.

Natco has launched RPIGAT in four strengths – 20 mg, 15 mg, 10 mg, and 2.5 mg. This medication will be available from cheapomeds.com soon. Just follow the websites to get affordable rivaroxaban.
